The Dual Axis Drive (DAD) series features a combination of vertical and horizontal slew drives, enabling movement along both axes. This integrated design allows a single component to execute all necessary motions in a solar tracker.
Additionally, this slew drive is equipped with an external lip seal, offering enhanced protection against dust and water.
The DAD series includes easily accessible direct lubrication points, ensuring the raceway remains in optimal condition for smooth movement.
This rotation unit can be powered by either a hydraulic or an electric motor.
Designed specifically for applications requiring high static holding torque and full-rotation movement, it is ideal for dual-axis solar trackers.
Like all our slewing drives, the DAD series is UV-resistant and can be treated with advanced coatings for harsh environments to prevent corrosion.
Available in both metric and imperial sizes, it guarantees full compatibility with the final application.
It can also be supplied with either a keyed or splined shaft.
